Contract Head of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Accounting - Contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Prepare accurate financial statements and manage month-end and quarter-end close processes
• Collaborate with the COO on budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections while analyzing financial data for trends and opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in a financial management role, such as Financial Controller or Head of Accounting
• 5+ years of accounting and financial management experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information with integrity
