Job Summary
Assisting with purchasing activities, the contract Junior Buyer will work remotely to ensure timely delivery of goods, maintain vendor relationships, and support senior buyers in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the purchasing of materials and services to meet operational needs
- Support senior buyers in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure data is up-to-date within the procurement system
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain management is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
