Contract Learning Designer

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Contract Learning Designer who will develop research-based, high-quality learning experiences for educators and education leaders, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a primarily remote environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities:

• Design effective learning experiences utilizing emerging technologies in public education
• Collaborate with other designers and teams to ensure timely project completion and shared information
• Showcase past design projects and their impact while managing tight timelines

Required qualifications:

• Proven design expertise in creating learning experiences for K-12 educators
• Specialized skills in instructional design, assessment design, e-learning development, or UX design
• Strong grounding in adult learning principles and evidence-based instructional design methodologies
• Experience working directly with K-12 school districts is a plus
• Proficiency in relevant design tools and ability to manage multiple projects
