Job Summary
To support efforts in protecting free and fair elections, the part-time Contract Litigation Attorney will engage in substantive litigation tasks such as legal research, drafting pleadings, and assisting with expert reports while working remotely for 20-40 hours per week through late March 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, legal briefs, and memoranda
- Prepare discovery-related documents, including motions and subpoenas
- Assist in the development of expert reports and support ongoing litigation efforts
Required qualifications
- Minimum of three years of civil litigation experience
- Ability to work 20-40 hours per week starting no later than October 5, 2026
- Experience with fast-paced litigation tasks
- Strong commitment to the mission of protecting democracy
- Compliance with applicable bar membership rules in the United States
