Contract Management Analyst

Job Summary

To maximize reimbursement for managed care and government contracts, the full-time remote Contract Management Analyst will analyze variances in posted and expected revenue, manage underpayment appeals, and collaborate with financial and clinical teams to enhance revenue cycle processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze contract reimbursement to identify variances, trends, and revenue leakage
• Manage underpayment appeals and collaborate with payers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
• Compile and present data on payment trends, making recommendations for revenue cycle improvements

Required qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or higher preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in revenue cycle management, contract compliance, or healthcare reimbursement analysis required
• Strong understanding of managed care, government contracts, and reimbursement processes
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Knowledge of medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG, etc.) and their impact on claim adjudication
