Contract Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract Manager to devise negotiation strategies for vendor goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft complex contracts while managing contract activity with moderate to high risk
• Prepare complex requests for proposals and provide guidance on Statements of Work
• Conduct market research and mentor less experienced contracting staff

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, law, or similar; Master's degree preferred
• Certification from NCMA, IACCM, or similar credential preferred
• 5+ years of progressive experience in contract negotiation and/or category management
• Broad knowledge of legal principles related to vendor contracts
• Proficient in contract lifecycle management and ERP systems
