Contract Manager - Florida

Job Summary

Serving as the primary contract manager for the VHA HEFP Special Engineering Program, the full-time remote Contract Manager - Florida will oversee contract performance, manage onboarding of contract staff, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project execution aligns with national priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Formulates and enforces work standards, assigns contractor schedules, and supervises contractor personnel
• Tracks and manages project execution, identifying tasks and milestones while addressing unresolved issues with HEFP Program Engineers
• Coordinates with COR, technical representatives, and CO on contract issues, leading senior management briefings on overall contract performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant medical, engineering, or science discipline with a minimum of 20 years of experience
• Master of Science degree with 15 years of program management experience
• 5 years of VA program management experience and 15 years of overall experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification
