Job Summary
Contract Manager - Program Implementation, is a full-time position responsible for overseeing contract performance and program delivery in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs' healthcare initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee contract performance, enforce work standards, and resolve discrepancies to meet program requirements
- Manage contractor on-boarding and ensure compliance with VA operational requirements
- Act as the primary contact for contract-related issues and lead management briefings on program status and risks
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience with a BS degree, or 15 years with an MS degree, or 5 years of VA program management experience combined with 15 years of total relevant experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant medical, engineering, or science discipline is required; Master of Science degree preferred
- Experience working within VA, VHA, or federal healthcare environments with knowledge of federal contracting structures
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA facility access credentials and complete required training
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification is required at the time of application
