Job Summary
Managing relationships with co-manufacturers, the full-time Contract Manufacturing Manager will oversee production planning, monitor performance, and ensure data integrity while working primarily onsite in New York City with some remote flexibility.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end production planning with co-manufacturers, ensuring alignment on capacity and operational priorities
- Oversee daily production performance, resolving issues and communicating updates to cross-functional partners
- Maintain accurate ERP production activities, ensuring data integrity in inventory movements and consumption tracking
Required qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience managing suppliers in a co-manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or drink-based CPG sector
- Understanding of multiple supply chain disciplines, including purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, and R&D
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to challenges
- Proven ability to build professional relationships with internal and external partners
- High level of motivation and a strong sense of urgency in executing tasks
