Contract Planning Engineer

Job Summary

Working on a contract basis, the Contract Planning Engineer will document GPON & XGS-PON activities, trigger projects using practical methods, and perform engineering work related to the design and evaluation of network systems.

Key responsibilities

• Document existing and planned GPON & XGS-PON activities, including creating Visio diagrams
• Analyze and design complex local and wide area network systems while resolving interoperability issues
• Support hardware and software acquisition and implementation, potentially acting as a technical project leader

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• 4+ years of experience in telecommunications engineering or planning (OSP/ISP/Access)
• Fluency in communication with technical individuals from engineering, sales, and operations
