Contract Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Contract Senior Accountant, responsible for preparing financial statements and management reports on a full-time, remote, 3-month contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
• Maintain the general ledger, prepare financial statements, and assist with regulatory filings
• Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial transaction recording and support audit requests

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
• Professional certification (CFM, CMA, or CPA) or advanced degree
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial services or fintech
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and FDIC/OCC standards
• Highly proficient with MS Excel and Word
