Contract Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer (Delivery) on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and refine Melange packages (APK) for Wolfi and repositories with a focus on security and quality
• Produce secure container images for public and private use, ensuring comprehensive testing
• Design and implement automated tests to guarantee smooth deployment and operation of images

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Linux
• Proficient in packaging formats such as APK, RPM, DEB, Snap, and Flatpak
• Experience in building and debugging container images
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
• Familiarity with at least one programming language, preferably Go, Python, or Shell
