Contract Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract Specialist to support the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Program Executive Office (PEO).

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team while providing expertise in contracts and acquisitions to support logistics planning and analytical activities
• Apply knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) to ensure compliance in logistics tasks and acquisition processes
• Provide guidance on the government contracting process, including the development of solicitation materials and the contract award process

Required Qualifications

• At least eight (8) years of experience in contracts and acquisitions
• Proven experience in supervising teams and providing acquisition expertise
• In-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
• Familiarity with government acquisition processes and adaptive acquisition pathways
• Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) or equivalent preferred
