Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contract Specialist to join their contract management department in the health insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and distribute complex new and renewing custom member and employer contract documents
  • Conduct detailed analysis of incoming requests to ensure correct documents are issued
  • Research and respond to general and group-specific contract issues and create legal files
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Five years of experience in a customer service/public contact role with health plan document writing experience
  • AHIP or CEBS course work or other appropriate certification preferred
  • Two years of experience in the health care insurance field with knowledge of medical terminology
  • Demonstrated training/auditing skills
