Contract Specialist

Job Summary

Managing a comprehensive contract portfolio, the full-time remote Contract Specialist will draft and negotiate various research agreements, including clinical trial agreements and federal contracts, while serving as a liaison between university stakeholders and external entities.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversees the review and negotiation of a variety of contract types, ensuring alignment with investigator needs and institutional policies
• Advises faculty and staff on contractual issues and potential impacts on negotiations
• Maintains awareness of regulatory changes and interprets contract-related policies for stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• J.D. - Juris Doctor degree
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in contract negotiation or research administration
• Advanced knowledge of contract law and agency regulations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively
• Experience in drafting and negotiating various types of agreements
