Contract Tax Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Contract Tax Manager for a fixed term of 3-6 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the timely and accurate preparation and filing of corporate and partnership income tax returns, including multi-state and international reporting
- Support the development and mentorship of junior tax staff
- Assist with implementing effective income tax planning strategies and collaborate with internal Controllers and CFOs on various income tax engagements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, and/or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years in a busy, complex tax environment
- CPA, JD, or EA license required
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office suite
- Master's degree in Taxation preferred but not required
