Contracting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Contracting Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct payer discussions and direct contract negotiations with insurance companies and other payers
• Analyze and communicate hospital contracting and payment methodologies with relevant staff
• Evaluate payer offers and develop counter proposals, maintaining contract files and fee information

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Care Management or a High School Diploma with two years of relevant experience
• Four years of experience in data analysis or business management, or two years in healthcare data analytics
• Master's degree preferred
• Direct experience in healthcare payment methodology or related contracting experience preferred
