Job Summary
A company is looking for a Contracts Attorney specializing in engineering and construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate contracts, including MSAs and subcontractor agreements
- Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks through effective contract structuring
- Advise project teams on contract interpretation and dispute avoidance strategies
Required Qualifications
- JD and active U.S. Bar License (TX, CA, or MN preferred)
- 5+ years of legal experience focused on construction, engineering, or design industries
- Experience with design-build delivery models and large-scale infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with AIA and/or EJCDC contract forms
- Strong background in commercial contracting, including MSAs and vendor agreements
