Job Summary
To drive the negotiation and execution of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects, the full-time Contracts Manager will work remotely or from the San Diego headquarters, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior members while managing commercial contract activities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of commercial terms in EPC contracts to align with organizational objectives
- Proactively identify risks during negotiations and recommend modifications to mitigate them
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for inquiries, fostering strong relationships with customers and internal teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in contract management within the utility-scale renewable energy sector
- Strong understanding of EPC concepts, commercial and legal principles, and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and motivate a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
