Control Center Operator

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Control Center Operator I will monitor and manage the operations of energy storage and solar assets, create and update trouble tickets, and collaborate with field technicians to ensure the efficiency and safety of plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily assessments of asset operational status and create trouble tickets for issue prioritization
• Visually monitor network and plant parameters to detect faults and respond to proactive monitoring alerts
• Escalate impactful issues and provide support to vendors and Field Operations during troubleshooting and incident response

Required qualifications

• Proficient in operating computers and using SCADA systems for monitoring plant operations
• Experience with electrical or utility asset operations, particularly in renewable energy
• Knowledge of basic electrical engineering concepts and experience with electrical meters and relays
• Alignment with the mission and values of the organization, with a strong interest in the Clean Energy Transition
• 5% travel expected for team events and company meetings
