Control Plane Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the public API experience and maintain existing APIs, the full-time remote Control Plane Engineer will design, implement, and integrate APIs across Supabase products while collaborating with various teams and developing testing and monitoring tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain internal and public-facing APIs for Supabase products
• Integrate with third-party platforms by developing custom integrations or providing API connection points
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth API functionality integration and enhance testing and monitoring tools

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in backend API development with strong expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript (Node.js)
• Experience in designing scalable and maintainable APIs, including API versioning and error handling best practices
• Good understanding of PostgreSQL and relational databases
• Proven ability to develop tools for testing, debugging, and monitoring API performance
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and containerized deployments
