Control Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working full-time as a Control Systems Engineer, the successful candidate will design and configure building control systems, provide remote troubleshooting support, and mentor local engineering teams while collaborating closely with branch field teams across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure complex building control systems, including necessary documentation and drawings for installation
• Develop and test software programs to meet project requirements and ensure quality delivery through adherence to QA/QC standards
• Participate in the Engineering Mentoring Program and maintain clear communication with branch teams regarding project progress and concerns

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of BAS programming and HVAC fundamentals
• Solid knowledge of control theory and building automation systems
• Experience with integrating low-voltage building systems and understanding BACnet and Modbus protocols
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in engineering tools
• Ability to lead technical decisions and mentor others effectively
