Job Summary
A company is looking for a Technical Support Specialist I to provide technical assistance to end-users of their systems and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the front line for customers to deescalate and solve technical issues
- Utilize OVRC remote management and guide customers through complex installations and troubleshooting
- Participate in beta testing of new products and provide actionable feedback to product teams
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in installing and programming control systems in the custom installation industry
- Certification in one or more control platforms such as Control4, Crestron, Savant, URC, or Elan
- Hands-on experience with surveillance, professional audio/video, and technology solutions
- Familiarity with IoT, audio/video, networking, home automation, and surveillance technologies
- Advanced networking knowledge, including VLANs, firewalls, and managed switches
