Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to lead their accounting team and oversee all accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, inventory accounting, tax, internal control, accounts payable and receivables, billing & collections, and payroll
• Lead the monthly close process and drive improvements in operational and accounting processes
• Implement accounting policies and practices, maintain fiscal records, prepare internal financial reports and analysis, and develop new accounting systems

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance and a CPA; master's degree is a plus
• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong technical knowledge of US GAAP
• Transparent and inclusive leadership style
• Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to determine opportunities and threats through data analytics
• Proven experience in developing and implementing systems and internal controls
