Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to lead and scale its finance function across U.S. and Canadian entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Manage cash flow forecasting and compliance with tax requirements across jurisdictions

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a Controller or senior finance role
• Direct experience managing full-cycle accounting for multiple countries, specifically the U.S. and Canada
• Proven ability to balance tactical execution with strategic oversight
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with Canadian GAAP/IFRS
• Exceptional leadership skills and experience in a high-pressure environment
