Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to manage and scale the accounting function while collaborating closely with the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Continuously improve accounting processes for PayFac and payments SaaS, ensuring data integrity
• Implement and manage accounting automation tools to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workflows

Required Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of month-end close
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and operational accounting best practices
• Experience in SaaS, fintech, payments, or PayFac environments is preferred
• Demonstrated success in implementing accounting automation and modernizing finance processes
• Proficiency with modern accounting systems and tools (e.g., QBO, NetSuite)
