Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to manage client relationships and oversee a team in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for multiple clients, managing workflow and coordinating team efforts
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and manage the month-end close process
• Prepare audit materials and respond to ad-hoc client requests in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the alternative asset industry, preferably in Venture Capital or Private Equity
• In-depth understanding of US GAAP and partnership accounting
• Experience in a client-facing role managing multiple engagements
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Xero or Quickbooks
• External auditor experience, CPA certification, or MBA is a plus
