Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to oversee the accounting function and strengthen financial infrastructure in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full accounting function including AP/AR, GL, close, and reporting
• Lead month-end/year-end close and deliver accurate financials
• Develop and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive Accounting experience with at least 2 years in a controller or senior accounting role
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of healthcare finance including Medicaid/Medicare billing
• Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite or QuickBooks
• Familiarity with state and federal tax compliance and external audits
