Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to lead and scale its finance function across U.S. and Canadian entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Manage and optimize multi-entity finance processes, enhancing controls and documentation

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a Controller or Senior Finance leadership role
• Direct experience managing full-cycle accounting for multiple countries, specifically the U.S. and Canada
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with Canadian GAAP/IFRS is preferred
• Proven experience in a hands-on role balancing tactical execution with strategic oversight
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of managing a team in a high-pressure environment
