Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller to manage the accounting function and support strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full accounting function, including accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financials
• Prepare for and lead the company's first annual audit, establishing internal controls and compliance with GAAP

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with audit preparation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Experience managing external audits and familiarity with accounting systems
• Experience with multi-state compliance and tax considerations
