Job Summary

Managing the accounting department remotely, the full-time Controller will oversee personnel, ensure compliance with accounting policies, and perform various accounting tasks including financial reporting and reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile financial discrepancies and provide accurate financial information in a timely manner
• Oversee the month-end financial close process and identify opportunities for financial improvements
• Manage financial vendor relationships and assist with financial modeling and forecasting

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting or a related Finance degree
• 5+ years of experience in an operational finance/accounting position
• Proficiency in Quickbooks accounting software
• Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred
• Intermediate computer skills in Excel
