Job Summary

To support the financial operations of a growing fintech company, the full-time remote Controller will lead accounting operations, build infrastructure for IPO readiness, and manage a team while ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of US accounting operations and consolidation, delivering accurate financial statements
• Redesign accounting operations to establish best practices and support IPO readiness
• Design and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure reporting integrity

Required qualifications

• Financial services background with experience in fintech or consumer credit accounting
• 10+ years in accounting/finance with leadership experience
• NetSuite power user capable of optimizing the platform independently
• Experience in building or restructuring accounting operations for IPO readiness
• Familiarity with SQL for cross-functional collaboration with data teams
