Job Summary

Providing hands-on financial leadership, the long-term contract Controller will manage accounting operations for multiple entities, oversee financial reporting, and enhance processes in a small-company setting.

Key responsibilities

• Direct accounting operations across four related entities, ensuring accurate financial oversight
• Produce monthly and annual financial statements while managing the full close process
• Supervise invoicing, collections, and payables activities to promote accuracy and healthy cash management

Required qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in accounting or controllership roles with ownership of full-cycle financial operations
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online, preferably in environments involving multiple entities
• Demonstrated experience preparing financial reports and managing month-end and year-end close activities
• Solid background in account reconciliations, including bank and intercompany reconciliations
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and benefits administration
