Job Summary

As a fully remote Controller, the candidate will oversee accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial reporting, managing the general ledger, leading month-end and year-end close processes, and preparing financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the general ledger and oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Lead and mentor the accounting and payroll team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and oversee the annual audit process with external auditors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA highly preferred, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 12 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
• Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems, with experience in NetSuite highly preferred
• Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in value-based care or managed care organizations, is highly desirable
• Strong analytical skills and leadership abilities, with a focus on driving performance and accountability
