To support a high-growth travel marketplace, the remote Controller will lead the accounting function, focusing on raising operational standards, enhancing talent density, and scaling automation and AI to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a clearer operating model across Accounting to enhance accountability and execution
- Build a high-performing leadership team by setting performance standards and addressing capability gaps
- Modernize the closing process to ensure efficiency and reduce manual interventions
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including roles such as Controller or Assistant Controller, preferably in a high-growth environment
- Strong track record of improving established accounting functions
- Proven ability to develop teams and enhance talent density
- Experience with automation and AI in accounting processes
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including multi-entity close and ASC standards
