Job Summary

Owning the financial operations for a construction business, the fully remote Controller will manage QuickBooks, oversee accounts payable and receivable, drive collections, and ensure accurate financial reporting in a hands-on role.

Key responsibilities

• Manage QuickBooks and maintain accurate financial records for the entire business
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Produce monthly financial reports and coordinate with outside accountants for tax filings

Required qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks
• 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting management, or as a Controller
• Proven track record of managing a company's financials from start to finish
• Strong experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote environment
