Job Summary

As the first Controller in a full-time remote position, the successful candidate will own the company's accounting function, build financial infrastructure, and partner with leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance while managing day-to-day accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, preparing financial statements and supporting schedules
• Continuously improve the company's financial systems and accounting technology stack for scalability and efficiency

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth technology or SaaS company
• Proven experience building accounting functions, systems, and controls from the ground up
• Strong technical accounting foundation with a deep understanding of US GAAP
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing an accounting team
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
