Controller
Job Summary
Owning the accounting function as the company scales, the full-time remote Controller will manage month-end close processes, technical accounting under ASC 606, and build internal controls while collaborating with leadership on financial reporting and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate financial statements
- Manage revenue recognition, multi-entity consolidation, and compliance with GAAP standards
- Build and enforce internal controls in preparation for external audits and tax compliance
Required qualifications
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a Controller or similar role
- Hands-on experience with the full close cycle, personally closing the books
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Experience with multi-entity consolidation and foreign currency accounting
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks
