Controller and Director of Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller (Director of Accounting).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting functions, including accounts payable, revenue recognition, and taxes
• Manage the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and present financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 8+ years of related accounting experience, ideally in audit
• Experience with general ledger systems, such as NetSuite
• 4+ years of management experience
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of US GAAP
