Controller Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller Consultant (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and enhance the Controller function for clients while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Oversee client accounting activities and facilitate onboarding of new clients to maintain high retention rates
• Provide guidance and training to team members while managing client workloads and project deliverables

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in finance/accounting, with a focus on government contracts
• Solid command of FASB and GAAP principles, with advanced knowledge of CAS, FAR, and DFARs regulations
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Unanet, Quickbooks, or Deltek Costpoint
• Must be a US Citizen with a proactive, service-oriented approach
