Controller Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller Consultant to join their internal team and work with government contracting clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate the Controller function and support internal controls management for clients
• Oversee client accounting activities and ensure a high client retention rate
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members while managing client workloads

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in finance/accounting, particularly with government contracts
• Solid understanding of FASB, GAAP, CAS, FAR, and DFARs regulations
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Unanet, Quickbooks, or Deltek Costpoint
• Must be a US Citizen
