Controller Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller Consultant to join their internal team and support government contracting clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and enhance the Controller function for clients, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Oversee client accounting activities and facilitate the onboarding of new clients
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members while managing client workload

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in finance/accounting, particularly with government contracts
• Solid command of FASB and GAAP principles, with advanced knowledge of CAS, FAR, and DFARs regulations
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as Unanet, Quickbooks, or Deltek Costpoint
• Must be a US Citizen
