Controller (CPA Required)

Job Summary

Leading the company's accounting operations, the full-time remote Controller (CPA Required) will manage financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance while serving as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and budgeting across various business initiatives
• Develop and maintain strong financial controls and policies while leading a high-performing accounting and finance team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership roles such as Controller or Senior Director
• Experience in consumer packaged goods or related industries, with knowledge of mass market retailers and digital commerce platforms
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls, with experience in trade spend and inventory accounting
• Advanced technology skills, including proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting systems and BI tools like Power BI
