Controller Finance Operations

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controller for their Finance Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent certification required
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior accounting role within the software industry
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP requirements and experience with SaaS revenue recognition
• Strong proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, & FP&A software
