Controls Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controls Engineer focused on Plant Controls Products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain control logic for plant-level controllers using IEC-61131-3 platforms
• Develop and execute structured test plans for new product features and releases
• Produce professional-grade documentation including functional specifications and validation reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Experience developing control logic using IEC-61131-3 environments
• Strong debugging skills for tracing code execution and identifying issues
• Experience with utility-scale renewable generation or traditional power generation is preferred
• Familiarity with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems and grid interconnection requirements
