Job Summary
To drive next-gen nuclear innovation, the contract Controls Engineer will design and modify 3D and 2D controls cabinet drawings, configure industrial network hardware, and support procurement engineering, all while working remotely from Wilmington, North Carolina.
Key responsibilities
- Design, create, and modify controls cabinet drawings in compliance with US and Canadian standards
- Set up and configure industrial network hardware and design virtual machine solutions using VMware
- Review complex customer requirements and manage milestones across multiple controls projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in controls cabinet design
- 2+ years of experience in HMI/controls coding
- Proficiency in PLC and controls systems
