Controls Engineer
Job Summary
To drive next-gen nuclear innovation, the remote contract Controls Engineer will design and modify controls cabinet drawings, set up industrial network hardware, and support procurement engineering while ensuring compliance with quality assurance procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Design, create, and modify 3D and 2D controls cabinet drawings in compliance with US and Canadian standards
- Set up and configure industrial network hardware and leverage VMware for virtual machine solutions
- Review and integrate complex customer requirements while managing multiple controls projects' milestones and schedules
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 4+ years of experience in controls cabinet design
- 2+ years of experience in HMI/controls coding
- Experience with PLC systems
- Familiarity with procurement engineering and vendor document reviews
