Controls Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Controls Technician to support operation and maintenance activities at assigned facilities in the DC Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform service, troubleshooting, and basic programming support of Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance, repairs, and component replacements on DDC systems and related electrical control systems
• Support day-to-day operation and communication of building automation systems and connected equipment

Required Qualifications:

• Trade school or vocational high school diploma (or equivalent technical training)
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with building automation or DDC systems
• Ability to review and handle confidential U.S. security information
• Valid driver's license in good standing, issued by state of residence
• Working knowledge of building automation protocols such as BACnet, LonWorks, and Modbus
