Conversational Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a long-term contract basis, the Conversational Data Engineer will create high-quality synthetic data for customer-specific applications, manage RAG/knowledge pipelines, and ensure compliance with privacy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer domains to generate synthetic conversation transcripts and supporting content
• Schedule and document index refresh processes while validating the quality and safety of synthetic data
• Collaborate with Conversational Platform Specialists and DevOps to ensure data drives the deployed experience and pipeline automation

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering, conversation design operations, or applied NLP data work
• Working knowledge of conversational platforms and their data consumption requirements
• Strong judgment regarding synthetic data quality, retrieval quality, and privacy safety
