Cooperative Legislation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cooperative Legislation Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comparative legal and regulatory research and analysis of cooperative legislation across NENA countries
• Prepare country legal reports and a regional synthesis brief identifying legislative gaps and proposing reform options
• Provide technical legal support and contribute to the development of guidelines and training materials on cooperative legal frameworks

Required Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in law or relevant field; bachelor's degree with additional experience may be considered
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in cooperative law or the cooperative sector
• Full proficiency/working knowledge of English and Arabic
• Experience in one or more countries in the NENA region
• Familiarity with rural development and agrifood system transformation
